4D-IT GmbH was founded in April 2011 based on more than 10 years of experience in research and development (R&D) of the owners Dr. Peter Dorninger and DI Clemens Nothegger as post graduate researchers at the Institute of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Vienna University of Technology. Since then, 4D-IT established as reliable partner of national (FWF, FFG) and international (ESA / NASA-JPL) research projects on the one hand while realizing commercial projects on the other hand.
