Data Acquisition

We apply most current sensors for 3D-data-acquisition such as laserscanners or cameras. Those may be placed at stable viewpoints. In addition, we have years of experience in UAV-based data-acquistion. If necessary, we can develop and construct customer specific data-acquisition platforms to solve your task.

3D Modeling

During this step, a 3D-point-cloud is converted into a 3D-model. The result is a triangulation. The main steps are the determination and elimination of points representing others than the expected object (filtering) and the lossless conversion of the information of the point-cloud into the 3D-model. In addition, the influence of measurement-errors (i.e. noise) shall be minimized while the amount of data shell be reduced. Years of experience in processing large 3D-point-clouds as well as a huge portfolio of methods and strategies allow us to create the optimum models of your objects.

Interactive Visualization

The core of 4D-Reality is the interactive visualization. Based on an optimized platform for real-time representation of 3D-scenes, 3D-models can be experienced efficiently on multible platforms. Windows, MacOS as well as mobile devices are supported. The integration and presentation of external content is enabled. For presentation purposes, high-resolution videos can be generated.


4D-Reality provides analysis and inspection-tools to measure distances and volumina. Different textures can be superimposed and models representing a scene at different dates can be compared. The presentation of automatically generated analysis-results as texture-overlays is also enabled.
